- ⅔ cup creamy cashew butter or sub any nut butter
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 eggs or sub 2 flax eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ⅓ cup cassava flour or sub 1 cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 ounces or ½ cup chopped dark chocolate
- ½ cup nuts optional
Whisk together cashew butter and maple syrup until well combined.
Whisk in eggs one at a time.
In separate bowl, sift all dry ingredients together.
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
Add chocolate and nuts, fold gently.
Pour into 8x8” pan and bake at 350℉ for 20 minutes.
Cut into bars and enjoy!
