- 1/2 cup cassava flour if sensitive to cassava flour, sub with 1 cup almond flour plus 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 egg to keep vegan, replace with flax egg
- 1/4 cup coconut oil melted
- 1 cup warm water
Chocolate Glaze Ingredients:
- 1 cup dark chocolate about 10 ounces
Preheat oven to 350℉.
Mix together all dry ingredients in large bowl with whisk.
Add rest of ingredients and mix until well combined and a batter forms.
Scoop into donut pans and bake for 15-20 minutes until donuts are completely baked through.
*Note: When these are still hot they will appear to be "gummy" due to the cassava flour...this is normal! As they cool the texture will become cakey and tender again!
